Post-consumer recycled materials
preserving raw materials
In collaboration with our chain partners, we make pots that are comprised of 100% recycled polypropylene (PP). These pots are certified for recycling and thus fully recyclable. The PP pots that are disposed of by consumers with their plastic, metal and drinking carton (PMD) waste are processed by Modiform into film for use in the production of new recycled pots.
This is a closed material cycle loop in which raw materials are preserved and no new plastic is used. The pots from post-consumer PMD waste therefore also contribute to closure of the material cycle loop.
