The Normpack tray is the answer to standardisation, and TrayC is an example of supply chain cooperation that closes the material loop. TrayC trays are made from 100% recycled PS, with no added dyes. The colour of the recycled material used in the product determines the colour of the tray!
By collecting trays and paying growers to put them outside for collection, we can recycle PS at our own facilities and use it to create new products.
Pristine is the standard for Modiform transport trays. These trays are polystyrene trays without dye additives. The recycled material determines the colour of the tray. Plastic in its purest form!
Next to Pristine, Modiform offers detectable transport trays: JustGrey is a light grey polystyrene which is NIR detectable and can therefore be sorted from mixed plastics. Our white and transparent PS are NIR detectable as well. PS JustGrey, white and transparent are all Cyclos certified.
