Design to product in seven weeks

The grower Kwekerij Wouters wanted to be able to place more clayettes on a Danish shelf, which could accommodate 22 of the black trays they were using. Together with Kwekerij Wouters, we developed a new clayette (7582) – in cool grey – so that the company can now fit 24 trays on the Danish shelf. It took just seven weeks to go from design to final product, and the first clayettes have already been delivered.

It's a fantastic example of sustainable development achieved by brainstorming and taking action together. This new clayette helps to further close the material loop: the material is made from 100% recycled materials, it’s recyclable, and it can be sent for recycling with the regular household waste. The reduced transport movements also lead to a decrease in emissions.
