Raw materials shortages vs high demand for products

Publicatiedatum: 24-06-2021

Manufacturers of rubber and plastic products are suffering from major raw material shortages in the market, as well as from undersupply. This means that customers in end markets such as Construction & Infrastructure, the packaging industry, and the automotive sector aren’t getting their products on time. These shortages are also having a huge impact on the horticultural sector. Manufacturers are exchanging the hard-to-get virgin plastic for recyclate, which in turn is leading to a recyclate shortage. These market conditions mean you’ll receive a different service from us than you’re used to.

We expect this development to persist over the coming weeks and months, but rest assured that we’re doing everything we can to supply our raw materials to you expediently. Unfortunately, we’re largely dependent on the availability of our suppliers, so we may not be able to deliver everything you order. Delays may also occur, and the waiting times for Sales Support may be longer than usual. We appreciate your understanding and are doing everything in our power to secure the supply of our products.
